About Us

PURPOSE:
The Bristol Recovery Club provides a sober, safe, supportive, and positive environment for persons desiring to remain free of the negative influences of alcohol and drugs. We welcome all men, women, and children who are in any way affected by the disease of alcoholism/addiction and wish to learn the tools for sober living. The Bristol Recovery Club, Inc. is a tax exempt, not-for-profit corporation. Our Federal tax status is 501(c)3.
OBJECTIVES:
  • To be available, free of charge, to assist individuals struggling with addictions.
  • To provide space for meetings, small social events, and a meeting place for people to communicate, learn, and teach the tools necessary to stay in recovery and become or remain productive citizens in the community.
  • To provide a safe drug free environment where men and women in good recovery can assist newcomers in learning the important key elements for sobriety; giving to others and sharing of one's self is of major relevance to recovery.
  • To provide an environment which fosters respect for others and demonstrates people helping each other and remaining true to the oath of anonymity.
  • To provide a flexible schedule of meetings to encourage and assist those in recovery.
  • To remain a non-profit organization with an all-volunteer staff.
  • To continue to offer membership to all without regard to race, color, political or religious affiliation.
  • To remain unaffiliated with any sect, denomination, political or special interest groups.
